| I know this is a rare item, but I am looking for one to install on my Townshend Rock III table. Must be in excellent condition and should include mounting instructions and any other manuals that came with the arm. Note that I am looking for the original Excalibur arm, not the current model. Thank you. |

Good evening,
I have dismantled my Elite Rock Turntable that came with the Excalibur arm already mounted. The motor went bad so I decided to build a DIY turntable. I purchased the turntable in England in 1983. I don't have any mounting instructions because the tone arm and Elite Rock can as a complete unit. I have already sold off the trough which was heavy metal. The guy that purchased it said his Rock 2 trough had broken. It was made of plastic? At any rate let me know if you are interested. Thanks much and have a blessed day.

Hello Bob,
Sorry for the delay. I just saw your post. I am interested in your arm. Please describe the condition, both cosmetic and operational, and your asking price. I'm not too worried about the lack of mounting instructions (I think it uses the same pivot to spindle distance as the Rega arms.) I've mounted enough arms in my life to give me some insight into their operation. Thank you.

Gornoguy, good evening to you sir. Not a problem regarding getting to me late. I have another offer but the gentleman has not fully committed. I will sent you photos of the Excalibur if you will send me your email address. My Excalibur arm came mounted on the Crainfield Elite Rock Turntable. This turntable was the first turntable produced for the commercial audio market after the prototype. The great thing about this turntable was that everything was built to last. The worse thing about this turntable was the motor, although it did last for a good while.
I think I had better send you a photo of two of this tone arm so that you can see exactly how it looks. It's in very good condition since I took very good care of my audio system. I will be back in touch Bob.
