It shows a mounting screw through the body of the cartridge.

Side view of nude SC4E. One of the 4 pins is covered. Only 3 pins are used in Decca cartridges. This common ground connection causes a lot of grief since it is hum prone and requires upmost care in terms of system setup.

You can clearly see the unique three-coil arrangement of the famous Decca "positive scanning" pickup design.

4 different types of Decca cartridges: Blue, Black (german version of the Maroon), Maroon (tuned by the Garrott Brothers) and a (London) Super Gold with Decapod.
