Modded sl1210 with bright white target lamp and underplatted Led`s.
First project of many

Took a few hours off dj work for a little experiment.
I modded the tuntable after the Shure whitelabel needles.
More projects are underway..........

With the platter off the drive system and the platter bearing are visible. The drive is a belt/idler system and the whole drive is in its own suspended sub-chassis that in turn hangs from the suspended chassis.

With the mat off, you can see the machined alloy platter. It's damn heavy! Runs really true on a steel axle with a small ball bearing at the base of he axle. The axle shaft bearing is a sintered bronze item.

Pitch control lever is on the front left of the image, on/off switch on the front right. Note the FUGLY headshell! Cart holder slides in from the front
