Voyd
High end turntables produced by Guy Adams in the UK. The original Voyd turntable consisited of a hardwood plinth supporting a sprung subchassis, lightweight acrylic platter and 3-motor drive system.
Later variants included the Voyd 0.5 with reference bearing and platter, and the Voyd Reference with massive offboard power supply, larger motors and Lexan platter. Also available was the cut down two-motor Voyd Valdi in a smaller chassis. The company was bought out in the 1990s by Audio Note who went on to manufacture a variation called the Audio Note Reference.
