Syrinx PU2
Scottish tonearm designed by Scott Strachan.

Description
The Syrinx PU2 features a fully adjustable sliding block in place of a conventional headshell arrangement.
The optional mass ring is a device which increases the lateral mass by 2.4g in the lateral plane.
This further separates the dual compliance mass resonance of the cartridge and arm which, with a very stiff cartridge, will help to reduce the overall magnitude of this resonance.

Review
Properly set up, many believed the Syrinx PU2 to be better than the Ittok, with a more unipivot-like sound that made vinyl sing like nothing before - HiFi World 2001

User Reviews
Great sounding arm but very fiddly to set up and looks like it was built in someone's garage!

Syrinx PU2
The PU2 did not need a 30 mm mounting hole: 10 mm is the correct diameter.
