Syrinx LE 1

The Syrinx LE1 Leone was the entry level tonearm from Syrinx Precision Instruments of Edinburgh.

Developed from the Datum tonearm that Syrinx produced for Logic, the LE1 featured several design changes to improve performance.

The arm featured a rotatable arm-tube for setting cartridge azimuth and a thread and lever type bias adjustment.

The Syrinx LE 1 had a distinctive sound, almost a crispness in the midband which was not severe enough to warrant the term colouration. It's hallmark was an above average level of clarity coupled with good stereo focus - £108 HiFi Choice 1984
