Description

The X-Tal lock system on the PS-X50 maintains the turntable at an accurate nominal speed under voltage or temperature variations or aging, and shows excellent initial drift and load/speed characteristics.

The direct drive system uses Sony's unique linear BSL (brushless and slotless) motor, resulting in extremely smooth torque and start up.

High speed precision monitoring utilising a 5-pole pick up head and pulse coated platter rim for electronic speed sensing.

The J-shaped tonearm uses a long span trunion and is adjustable for height to adapt to any cartridge.
