The SR-4050C is the standard bearer for a whole new generation of quality turntables - the Sansui Automanuals.

Designed and built by perfectionists for perfectionists, this precision instrument now brings you the best of both turntable worlds, the uncomplicated accuracy of the manual and the convenience of the automatic.

Perhaps the most outstanding feature of the SR-4050-C is it's unique Auto lift/stop mechanism.

The all electrical element includes a special detector circuit and relay/solenoid control system.

Among it's many advantages are the elimination of possible damage resulting from undesirable side pressure, plus the fact that cartridges of very light tracking force can be used.

The Auto stop element automatically stops platter motion when a record has finished playing and the tonearm raises itself.

Incorporating a direct belt-drive system, 4-pole synchronous motor, Sansui's original belt protection system and feather touch cueing control, the SR-4050 C carries the tender loving care of records to gentle new lengths.

No expense has been spared to make it the finest of the new Automanual generation.

It's statically balanced tonearm, for example, features a unique and costly gimbals-support design.

Gold-plated connection terminal pins are used, and an expensive head shell is provided, along with a newly designed induced magnet cartridge.

The new SR-4050 is a performer without peer among today's quality turntables.
