It combines a large 12" platter, a newly designed hysteresis motor and Sansui's exclusive direct belt-drive system for steady, unwavering speeds at 33 and 45rpm, without rumble or noise.
Better tracking and pickup characteristics are assured by it's non-resonant, statically-balanced tubular tonearm with induced magnet cartridge.
The tonearm is complete with sliding weights, a direct reading stylus pressure scale and an inside force canceller, a special balancing weight mechanism that guarantees optimum stereo pickup, reduced record wear and longer stylus life.
Other features that make the SR-3030BC one of the world's truly great turntables are it's built in hydraulic cueing device, die-cast motor board and oil-finished walnut cabinetry.
