Two-Speed belt driven turntable
Sansui's all new SR-1050C is a turntable with all the refinements, and all the precision that the demanding stereo enthusiast insists upon, backed by Sansui's ever growing reputation as one of the worlds foremost quality components makers.
It's very sensible price tag not withstanding, Sansui has neglected nothing that would make the SR-1050C any less than a very complete, very sophisticated music source.
An advanced 4-pole hysteresis synchronous motor powers a heavy, belt-driven double rim platter at unwavering speeds.
Push-button controls provide operational ease, and a feather touch cueing control - incorporating a new delayed motion oil-damped arm elevation mechanism - doubles as a power switch.
The SR-1050C has a precision statically balanced tonearm complete with a lateral balancer and an inside force canceller, among it's many attractive features.
The unit is also available as the SR-1050E without the included induced magnet cartridge and the SR-1050K without cartridge or base/dust cover.

As a hobby I have serviced about 10-15 vintage turntable. This one impressed me, build quility and sound, fine tonearm. This was an entry level turntable, and still that good. But you need a stylus pressure gauge, the counterweight has no scale. Robert Sweden
