Sansui FR-1080
Two-Speed belt driven automatic turntable

Description
Operating the FR-1080 is simple; with the lift/play lever set in the play position, just place the tonearm over the selection on the record you wish to play and operate the start/stop lever once.
The arm will descend gently to begin to play, and when play ends, it will return to it's rest by the automatic mechanism, which also shuts off the power.
Accurate speeds are maintained against line voltage and load fluctuations at all times by the durable and quiet 4-pole synchronous motor.
The belt drive system of the FR-1080 ensures a minimum of noise and rumble.
Sansui's S-shaped tubular tonearm is of the statically balanced type to reduce friction and tracking error.
Cabinet resonance, also called howling, has been reduced to a bare minimum in the new Sansui slim line profile cabinet.
