Pro-Ject Tube Box

I recently bought this second hand. Until now I had been using an Audio Alchemy Vac In The Box. The difference is astounding! My system now throws a HUGE soundstage that spreads waaay beyond the boundaries of the speakers and sinks back far behind them as well. Shimmering highs are full of detail and micro dynamics, symbols softly brushed or lightly tapped send shivers up my spine. Female vocals are wonderfull, on acoustic guitar the pluck of the string and the decay of the notes just goes on and on. I am really happy with this piece. I wasn't sure if it would be a sidways step rather than an upgrade but now I am convinced! I repaced the stock tubes with some new Tung Sol's.
Highly reccomended!
