Ortofon SKG-212

12 Inch Tonearm

Ortofon SKG-212

Description

The SKG-212 is an excellent arm that is moderately priced, yet retains all the necessary and wanted features of more expensive units.

The vertical pivots use small diameter sliding bearings and the lateral pivots use precision ball bearings.

The arm is balanced vertically by means of a counterweight whose scale is calibrated in grams.

The counterweight is separated from the Duralumin arm tube by a special plastic which reduces arm resonance to 10Hz.

The plug-in shell of the SKG-212 accepts any cartridge and is adjustable for cartridge overhang.
