Description
The Ortofon S-15MT is identical to the S-15T, but is factory mounted in a shell that fits all Ortofon and SME tonearms.
The user need have no qualms about the accuracy of his mounting; the S-15MT is precision aligned by Ortofon in a shell to track and reproduce perfectly.
The four stereo connections are made at the factory; instead of the usual wires, the cartridge has silver-plated coil spring connections from the cartridge to the terminals that connect into the tonearm.
The use of coil springs guards against any undesirable resonance, and also insures perfect contact.
