Well, I don't rate this TT with a 10 just because that means 'perfection' and I guess this isn't a 'perfect' machine. But it's a terrific one anyway! After years of lusting after a Technics SL-1200 and not being able to get one just because it has always been very expensive where I live, I felt really happy when I got to know about the so-called Super-OEM turntables. After some research, I found that the TTXUSB is one of the best priced top-of-the-line models among all the Super-OEM TT manufacturers currently in the market. And it's for sure THE one with the most impressive array of features.
So, it's true that I'd still like to own a Technics SL-1200, but right now I can tell it's just because of the fetish of being the proud owner of such a great and venerable machine. But from the standpoint of just owning a terrific turntable, I don't think I need anything else.
