split plinth design and glass platter

Music Hall MMF-5

The MMF-5 is a 2-speed belt driven turntable employing a dual-plinth construction.

This design helps to isolate the platter, main bearing, tone arm and cartridge (top platform) from the motor, switch, wiring, and feet (bottom platform).

Six viso-elastic cones isolate the two platforms and provide vibration damping.

The turntable also comes with a high quality cartridge ready mounted.

The Music Hall MMF-5 offers fine levels of detail and quietness. It has warm, deep, slightly woolly bass, remarkably honest midrange and fast, articulate treble performance that errs, ever so slightly, to the brighter side of natural." - Soundstage
