Description

The Micro Seiki RX-5000 is a turntable platter unit used with the RY-5500 remote motor unit.

In order to produce a stable rotational performance and a high quality reproduced sound, the platter has a high specific gravity, materials with a high internal loss and gunmetal.

With a massive weight of 16kg this platter reproduces an ulta high level of inertia.

To sufficiently support the platter, the 16mm diameter platter bearing shaft has been designed as a fulcrum with strength and precision in mind.

The 22.2kg turntable frame has a large mass made of zinc so that it can support the rotating mechanism.
