Marantz 6170
Two Speed Direct Drive Turntable

Description
The Marantz Model 6170 Turntable incorporates the advanced, innovative design and unparalleled technology that has made Marantz famous in the audio components industry.
It features a servo-controlled direct drive platter and a precision tone arm with calibrated tracking force and an anti-skate adjustment.
The Model 6170 also features hydraulically damped cueing, strobe-referenced electronic speed tuning, auto shut off, low capacitance cables suitable for use with CD-4, and shock absorbing mounting feet to prevent acoustic feedback.
The rubber mat on the platter is impregnated with anti-static compounds to prevent static electricity build-up that can cause dirt particles to be attracted to the record surfaces.

mention of 6150
In this service manual it mentions 6150 in the voltage adjustment area the two T.T. seem quite similar. the 5k pots were of interest to me for speed adjustment.
