Belt Driven turntable with electronic speed control. The original version came fitted with the Linn Basik LVX+ tonearm, while later decks benefited from the much improved Akito mkI.

The Axis is happiest simply playing music, something it does rather well, and with the absolute minimum of fuss - HFW January 1998
