Linn Akito
Stereo Tonearm

Description
The Linn Akito incorporates much of the technology developed for the Ekos tonearm.
In order to achieve maximum strength and rigidity, high performance adhesives are used.
The one piece headshell and the bearing are high pressure die-cast for added strength.
The new larger diameter bearing assembly minimises friction and play.
Every detail of the arm has been optimised.
The Akito sets new standards of performance at this price level.

Review
Gives great insight into all types of music; open and spacious presentation and commanding pitch and rhythmic control; dynamic range subjectively superior to Rega RB300 and Roksan Tabriz - Akito mk1 £137 WHF 1990
A sharp analytical performance, excellent sense of timing - Akito mk1 £159 WHF 1992
Easy to install and use, it's sound is better suited to wood based decks like the LP12 but it is capable of good results in most situations - Akito mk2 £600 HiFi Choice 2003

User Reviews
The original Japanese built Akito was a direct competitor to the RB250/300 and suits MC cartridges better than the earlier LVX series.
