Submitted on October 9th, 2009 by flavio81What is more important in this flyer, IMHO, is that it has calculations of contact surface areas for the diverse stylus types. More contact area=less groove wear.
Also note that the "line contact" type indicated on the flyer is, apparently, a Shibata.
BTW the patent on this micro ridge stylus is by Namiki, and it appears that JICO uses Namiki stylii.
