Heybrook TT2
Two Speed Belt Drive Turntable

Description
The Heybrook TT2 features a heavy, welded steel, sprung subchassis.
The platter is a cast affair with felt mat, belt driven via an AC synchronous motor.
Speed selection is achieved by moving the belt on the stepped pulley.
Review
As far as sound quality goes, the TT2 is like a Linn. It has warmth and rhythm and colouration. It is very comparable to an early Linn LP12 with Basik power supply - Analog Addicts
The merits of the TT2 are in terms of feedback, tonal balance, integration and pitch stability. The subjective performance was sufficient to merit recommendation - £195 (motor unit only) HiFi Choice 1984
A gradual process of informed evolution and a sensibly designed arm combine to make this a good sounding middle of the road package, well supported by dealers - £469 HiFi Choice 1992
