Helius Scorpio

Helius Design's entry level tonearm, the Scorpio underwent numerous detail improvements during it's life.

mk1 featured a fixed headshell with overhang adjustment via a sliding arm tube.

mk2 had the arm tube fixed securely and a sliding headshell.

mk3 used a more common fixed arm tube and headshell, with slots for cartridge alignment.

The Scorpio views even the brightest of tracks with rose-tinted spectacles; bass performance not as extended as expected; good aesthetic design, although finish of metalwork could be improved - £165 What HiFi 1988
