Grace G-727
Gyro Master Stereo Tonearm.

Description
The Grace G-727 features a lightweight, straight pipe design.
All the robust characteristics of the 6mm diameter alloy straight pipe utilized in the earlier G-707 model have been retained, with a new process for additional rigidity.
This has been achieved by a new straight pipe model with low mass and effective suppression of resonance.
We have developed a plug-in headshell which has succeeded in eliminating the dead mass found in many types of European headshell connectors.
This also has the advantage of eliminating electrical mis-connection or resonance at the connection point.
The headshell itself is composed of specially hard-processed 2mm thick aluminium alloy.
The finger grip is a unified part of the headshell and is tapered toward the end to reduce undesirable resonance.
All of these features of the G727 contribute to arm performance that compares favourably with integrated pickup units.
The pivot points incorporate ultra-high precision micro bearings which have been finished to an extremely fine degree of tolerance.
The arm support system is by a proven gimbal support system, similar to the types utilized in aeronautical gyroscopic equipment; because its vertical and horizontal parts all move under identical conditions, this system is ideal for stereo discs.

Thanks
Submitted on March 15th, 2009 by gritz_1Vielen Dank for the paperwork on the Grace G-727. Last year I bought a Rega Planar 3 with a Grace tonearm, and it took a YEAR to find what model tonearm I had purchased. I knew it was very close to the 707 or a 747 but never found the correct model until today!
