Goldmund T5
Belt-Driven Automatic Radial Tonearm

Description
The Goldmund T5 is a straight-line design with integrated electronic servo control.
Infrared optical error detection located near the tone-arm extremity for greater precision.
Electrical cueing with remote control for the Studietto.
Automatic lifting at end of record or if any malfunction is detected.
Two very precise scaled micrometric VTA adjustment with locking device.
Simple azimuth adjustment.
Adjustable damping (fluid) located on the tone arm vertical axis.
New type of pivot called False Unipivot with perfect dynamic range transmission but without lateral movement.
Pivot-to-stylus line on the tone arm inertia-ellipsoid small axis for perfect dynamic stability.
Dynamic mass high enough for the most heavy moving-coil cartridges.
Dynamically constant tracking force. Optimal theoretical balance of the tone arm.
Headshell, tube and pivot machined from on single solid piece of aluminium for extreme rigidity.
Large diameter tube damped by special inner structure.
Carriage mounted on 3 ball bearing rolling on a V-shape rail to improve the mechanical grounding.
Two counterweights machined in lead to fit all the best cartridges today available. Coupling from counterweight to tone arm on one single point without decoupling material to improve rigidity and dynamic range.
New kind of ultra-rigid removable headshell giving perfect coupling between the cartridge and the tone arm tube.
Gold-plated, spring-loaded cartridge plugs.
Litz internal wiring.
Gold-plated, Teflon insulated RCA connectors.
Same mounting template as the famous Goldmund T3.
