Description
The UPX-003B preamp was designed to be used with G-E variable reluctance cartridges.
Sufficient gain is provided to operate the cartridge with a standard radio receiver or audio amplifier.
Equalization in the preamplifier itself provides bass boost to confirm with the RIAA record industry standard.
While intended primarily for use with G-E cartridges, the preamplifier may be used with any magnetic cartridge having a peak output up to 50 millivolts.
The unit is completely self-contained and ready to operate when connected to a power source.
