Fairchild model 412-4

Description

The Fairchild model 412-4 consists of the 412-1 single-speed turntable and the 412-ED electronic speed control regulator.

The unit features a four-speed electronic control regulator, thus eliminating any type of mechanical speed selection.

Speed of the hysteresis synchronous motor is also controlled by the electronic control regulator.

The model 412-4 plays 16, 33, 45 and 78rpm records by turning the speed selector switch to the desired position.

It operates on 50, 60 or 400 cycles and on line voltages from 90 to 135 volts AC without overheating, running slowly, or wow.

It may be operated from storage batteries by using a vibrator, or from other direct current sources by using an inverter.
