Electro-Sonic Laboratories inc where a Danish company that produced high quality gimbal bearing tonearms in the 1950's and 60's. Models included the ESL Gyro Balance 1000 and the ESL Gyro Balance S-2000.
No other make of arm uses ball bearings throughtout for all vertical and horizontal motions. This assures smoother operation, increased record life and longer, trouble free performance.
