The Dual 1229Q is a variation of the 1229 automatic turntable.


Drive: synchronous continuous-pole motor with radial elastic suspension

Platter: non-magnetic, dynamically balanced, weighing 3,1kg (6.8lb)

Speeds: 33, 45 and 78rpm

Pitch control variation: 6% at all speeds (approx one semitone)

Speed accuracy deviation: +-0.06% DIN 45507

Signal to noise ratio: -63dB weighted rumble

Tonearm: extra-long, torsionally rigid metal arm, in 4-point gimbal suspension, with skeletal head design

Effective length: 222mm

Cartridge holder: removable, accepts all 1/2" cartridges from 1 to 12g

Stylus pressure: 0 to 3g

Dimensions: 376 x 308mm with 26mm tonearm overhang
