The Denon DP-3 is a quartz controlled, direct drive turntable with linear tracking tonearm.

High precision linear tracking tonearm with clear and bright music reproduction because there's no tracking error distortion.
Dynamic damping cuts tonearm resonance and acoustic feedback.
Automatic record size sensor.
Special muting circuit cuts noise when the stylus enters or leaves the record during tonearm operations.

Linear drive motor with Denon quartz speed control.
