Description

The Decca Super Gold is the worlds most sought after cartridge.

Suitable for all types of microgroove records (not 78rpm) it is the mk7 development of a long, distinguished line of phono cartridges which have, and are, providing music lovers worldwide with a standard of record reproduction acknowledged to be unique.

The thoroughbred qualities of positive scanning, a Decca transducing system developed to read the minute modulations of the record groove and convert them into electrical energy without the intervention of additional mechanical means of transmission, has been retained and enhanced, and by contouring the powerful internal magnets and the external casing, the clearance between disc and cartridge body has been increased, thus overcoming problems created by warped pressings.
