Description
The unique Decca positive scanning design works on a sum and difference principle.
There is no conventional cantilever, so giving a very low moving mass and the most direct route from record groove to signal output.
This results in unsurpassed realism of reproduction which compares favourably with live performance.
Another advantage of this design is that it results in a very high output of 5mV which means that a transformer or pre-amp is not required.
