Two-speed idler drive turntable
Description
The Connoisseur Classic is a new approach in turntable and pickup design.
Two slow speed synchronous motors are used, one for 33 1/3rpm and one for 45rpm.
The soft rubber drive wheels are disengaged when not in use.
All spindles are of high quality carbon steel polished to a mirror finish and the bearings are of phosphor bronze.

Platter: 10 1/4" diameter lathe turned aluminium

Switching: microswitches with suppressor condensers
Tonearm: gimbal bearing with needle point pivots.
