Crystal Phonograph Pickup

Description
The Brush model PL-20 pickup is a lightweight, crystal phonograph pickup, employing a permanent jewel stylus (sapphire).
It is designed for reproducing lateral-cut records up to 16" diameter, varying from hard pressings to soft instantaneous recording materials.
The pickup arm is adjusted to give a stylus force up to 30 grams.
This low stylus force assures long record life and reduction in background noise.
Specifications
Frequency response: flat within 1dB from 50 to 5000 cycles. Rising characteristic from 5000 to 10,000 cycles (10dB maximum)
Output impedance: equivalent to 0.001mfd
Sensitivity: 1.7 volts per 0.001" stylus displacement
Stylus force: 30g (approx 1 ounce) factory adjusted to insure tracking.
Stylus tip radius: 0.003"
Recommended load resistance: over 1 megohm
Rochelle salt crystal maximum temperature: 120 degrees F
