Bluenote B5

The B-5 is a 7-bearing Gimbal type tone arm with medium to high mass. Vertical tracking angle and tracking force are adjustable but no anti-skating mechanism is supplied.

Description

The tonearm sounds open and controlled with powerful bass. It has an aluminium alloy arm tube, the length of which allows mounting in a Rega-cut armboard.

The aluminium and brass counterweight has an offset hole so that the centre of gravity is under the arm tube line, increasing stability.

The design also allows some adjustment of ant-skating force and cartridge azimuth.
