Acos Rega Planet
This was the original Rega Planet turntable from the early 1970s. It was marketed by Acos and fitted with an Acos / Lustre manufactured tonearm.

Description
The main claim to fame was the pod assembly used to support the record, which proved to be less than ideal and was replaced by a solid glass platter on the Planar turntable that followed.
One of the main advantages of the Acos Rega three point record suspension is that static electricity (the cause of dust attraction) is retained by records.
To gain full benefit from this phenomenon always keep the lid shut whilst playing records.
Please note the on this turntable Wow and Flutter and Rumble are so low that there is no current method capable of accurately measuring them.
