Kenwood
Started life in 1946 as Kasuga Radio Co then changed names three times, firstly to Kasuga Radio Industry Corporation in 1950, then Trio Electronics in 1960 and finally Kenwood Corporation in 1986.

In the late 70's Kenwood produced many increasingly complex direct drive turntables, culminating in the amazing L-07D.
